Arduino Course

In this Arduino course, kids will dive into programming and engineering using the Arduino microcontroller.

What is Arduino?

Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronics projects

Arduino consists of:

  • Physical programmable circuit board (aka microcontroller)
  • Software or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board.
  • Arduino is an excellent platform to teach kids the basics of programming since the code they create is used to control motors, sensors, and other components like lights, attached to the microprocessor.
  • Many engineers learn Arduino as a platform first before learning more sophisticated programming and engineering concepts.
SKU: N/A Category:

  • The Engineering design process
  • The Arduino board (hardware) and the Arduino IDE (software)
  • Building electrical circuits using Arduino & electrical engineering
  • Connecting motors and sensors and other components (resistors, capacitors, etc.) to circuit boards, etc.
  • Basics of signal processing
  • The difference between analog and digital electrical circuits, and how to bridge them
